Introducing the Inner Alphabet

Imagine an alphabet book that not only teaches letters but also helps children understand who and what they are. That's the Inner Alphabet! It was designed to help children remember that they are souls and recognize the feelings of unity and self-acceptance.

Meet the Authors

Malaika Moses is a self-taught visual artist and multifaceted professional with a background in youth development and business management. She was inspired to create the Inner Alphabet when she became a mother and could not find an alphabet book that encouraged her daughter to become curious about her innate soul qualities. She holds a BA in Mathematics from Spelman College and an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. Her experience includes 10 years with Pearson, an educational publisher.

Shama Minwalla is a Montessori teacher and peace activist with 30 years’ experience. She founded and operates a preschool in Los Angeles, CA. She has traveled and experienced many different cultures, rituals, and celebrations that have profoundly enriched her life from a young age.Shama earned her International Montessori Master's Degree at the Ohio Montessori Training Institute in Cleveland, OH and her M.Ed. from Cleveland State University.
